2011 in Avalon 3.3% of all real estate units SOLD and in Stone Harbor 2.5% of all real estate units SOLD. This is a positive sign up from 2010 percentages of 2.8% and 1.9% respectively although the number of units SOLD is still about half compared to the top years where 6.2% of real estate units SOLD. Considering the drop in units SOLD from the top years of 2002 to 2005, property values have declined less in comparison to the decrease in number of units SOLD. Currently in Avalon there are 287 or 5.1% of all real estate units FOR SALE, and in Stone Harbor 216 or 6.8% of all real estate units FOR SALE. See pages 4 & 5 for the detailed statistics of properties SOLD in the various types of units.
