'Stone Harbor Shiver' Polar Plunge



When: March 10th 12 Noon at 96th Street Beach

What a great event for three great causes is being planned for a winter weekend in Stone Harbor! The 'Shiver' benefits *Volunteers in Medicine, *Cape May County Special Services *Friend in Need

Prizes: Best Costume, Team Costume, Team Name

First 150 registered receive a T-shirt - 50 already registered!

Adults $25 - before March 10th $30 day of plunge
Students with ID $10

Begin the weekend Friday, March 9th at the Pre-Plunge Party
6 -9 PM hosted by the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor (89th St. & the Bay), $10 per person at the door. Music, Food, Cash Bar, Silent Auction, FUN!

In honor of the big day, Fred's Tavern and Yacht Club of Stone Harbor will be serving two special drinks beginning today and through 'Shiver' day.

Gummy Splash:
1-Part Pinnacle Gummy
1-Part Pinnacle Whipped
4-Parts Club Soda
Garnish w/Swedish Fish

Gimme S'mores:
1-Part Pinnacle Marshmallow
1-Part Chocolate Liquor
2-Parts Half/Half

Plunge day Saturday, March 10th - Registration and packet pick-up begins at 9 AM at Women's Civic Club.

Fun activities for the kids. See George the Polar Bear and a special reptile friend from the Wetlands Institute plunge, too!
